I'm a freelance artist from Michigan. I love drawing horror, super heros and cool characters. I have done some children's books illustrations and working on 2 comic books. I was also a tattoo artist for about 10 years and had created custom tattoos for people for longer then that.
I just came across your profile page on Freelanced.com and as an aspiring comic book writer and artist, I'd like to be able to work with you on a graphic novel that I have planned in the future! I was really impressed with your artwork( and how it almost has an anime-style and feel to it) and with how you're a tattoo artist, penciler, inker and colorist working in sequential art as well as specializing in pin-up art!
Because I've been looking for artists who can do it all and then that way, instead of having to find someone who does inking and someone who does coloring and someone who does penciling, etc, I can find someone who does all of the above things and then pay them for doing each. I'm curious, do you do lettering, as well? If not, then that's perfectly fine as lettering is something that I'm teaching myself how to do but I just thought that I would d ask.
I also like that you're a fast artist because that would fit exactly what I have in mind for getting the comic book done in a relatively short period of time! And as an aside, I've got a lot of respect for tattoo artists because I could never do it. I've had people suggest it to me but the pressure of making a mistake and doing a design wrong( as whenever I do art, many times, I'll make mistakes and go back over on drawings and change and edit specific things about the drawings and erase different things and then change them) on a person's body as a canvas is not something I would want to have to deal with!
Have Yourself A Great Day!
I don't do lettering, I have a guy I hire for that part for sure. All depends on the book and how big the project is . I usually prefer horror and fantasy and can only take on small or short projects at the moment. I'm currently working on my own comic, commissions, patreon rewards each month and creating new designs for my merch while waiting for the Hell's Belles script to be ready to start work on. If I could make clones of myself then that would be perfect lol. But yeah keep in touch for sure. I know you would prefer a single artist work on it all but some times having at least 2 helps lighten the load and move things along even faster too.
Thanks for the response and I'll definitely be sure to keep in touch! Good luck on your comic and me having two artists to work with instead of one on the comic I have planned is a good suggestion!
Have A Great Day!
Good luck to you as well. There are a few groups on Facebook where you can maybe find everyone for your team that you'll need as well. Just search any groups with "comic book writers and artists" or "comic book creators"
Looking forward to seeing all the Hells Belles comic work you do! And will explore your other work in the process 😄
Epic and thank you.
mate I love all this... will be following here as well as tiktok.
