Hermione's Forbidden Fashion

Hermione stepped out of the Forbidden Forest, her eyes sharp and determined. The light rain that had started to fall did nothing to dampen the glossy sheen of her new outfit—a black leather jacket paired with equally shiny, high-waisted leather pants. She wore a simple black crop top beneath the jacket, and a thick belt with a large silver buckle cinched the whole look together.

Harry and Ron, who had been waiting anxiously by the edge of the forest, looked up as she approached. Their jaws dropped simultaneously.

“Hermione... what on earth are you wearing?” Ron blurted out, his eyes wide with a mix of surprise and confusion. He wasn’t used to seeing Hermione in anything but her usual Hogwarts robes or casual Muggle clothes, and this new look was completely out of character for her—or so he thought.

Harry, too, was taken aback. “Yeah, Hermione, it’s... different,” he said, struggling to find the right words. He wasn’t sure if it was meant to be a disguise or some kind of magical armor. “Is this part of a spell or something?”

Hermione rolled her eyes, though a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. “Honestly, you two,” she sighed. “This isn’t a spell; it’s just clothing. I found it in one of the old enchanted wardrobes in the Room of Requirement. It’s charmed to be almost indestructible and perfect for sneaking through dark forests.”

Ron still looked skeptical. “But why leather? And... so tight?” he asked, scratching his head.

“Because it’s practical,” Hermione replied, matter-of-factly. “The leather won’t catch on branches or tear easily. And it’s waterproof. Besides,” she added, a bit defensively, “I think it looks rather nice.”

Harry couldn’t help but smile at her confidence. “Well, if it helps us get through whatever we’re about to face, I’m all for it,” he said. “Just... maybe warn us next time?”

Hermione grinned. “Consider yourselves warned, then.”

With that, the trio set off deeper into the forest, Hermione leading the way. Ron and Harry exchanged one last bewildered look, but they couldn’t deny that Hermione’s new outfit had a certain intimidating flair. As strange as it was, they knew better than to question Hermione when she had her mind set on something—especially when they had a mission ahead.
