How it was made

How it's made? I don't like images that are fully generated with stable diffusion, because there is no control over what the final image will look like. Instead, I use SD and other AI tools to enhance the realism on my images. How?

1: I pose my custom made metahuman
2: export it as an obj
3: simulate the garment on the mesh in Marvelous Designer
4: import the garment back to UE, and apply the materials
5: Render out a high quality image
6: Bring the image into GFPGAN to enhance the face
7: import the GFPGAN output to GPEN to enhance the face further
8: import the GPEN output into Stable Diffusion IMG2IMG, using multi-controlnet
9: Since Stable diffusion screws up the original face, I import the GPEN output and the SD output into photoshop, and blend the GPEN face with the rest of the image.
10: Color Grading and etc in After effects.

This method allows me to have a very similar image to the original UE5 render, but with enhanced realism.
