Hello everyone!First of all, thank you to all of you for your encouraging words in this new branching path of my life. It means a lot to have your support in this endeavour.Well, the test was over a month ago, and as some of you know, I feel like it went pretty well, aside from a few known mistakes. In fact, it went well enough that I received an email from Statistics Canada saying that my performance on it earned me an interview! JANUARY 16! I don't know EvafanartsclubEC. I've never viewed their art before. I don't even know who you are.
It is 100% okay if you don't want to interact with EvafanartsclubEC at all. But I would discourage you from going around to random dA profiles and asking people to join your side. That's like what Jehovah's witnesses do, and it's not something people tend to like.
I understand you think you're doing a good thing. You should understand that people are allowed to like what they like, and draw what they want to draw. If they want to upload that art, they are absolutely allowed to, as long as it doesn't violate the platform's TOS.
There is a lot of art on dA that I don't like, but I will never tell the artist that I hate their art, or spread hate about any artist. That is not, I repeat, not, an acceptable way to behave. You need to remember that every artist on dA is a person in real life, just like you. Nobody deserves to have hate spread about them for what they like—not in real life, not online.
You can't control what other people like, or what they want to draw. It can only affect you if you let it affect you. If you can learn to let it go, rather than act on how it makes you feel, it'll be a lot better for your mental health. Trust me.
