-So, yet again, I'm going to try to keep up with this. If I'm seriously going to try to make art my career, then I really have to pick up on the responsibility of doing my work and getting stuff done.My excuse this year is that life took me for a giant whirl. A lot has changed. Too much to talk about, but a lot has happened.Anyway, the goal is that when I'm not working on my 'real' job, I should be dedicating a few hours to art. I should be working enough hours so that it represents me having a sort-of part-time job. This summer has been great so far, but artistically, I've been in a bad place. Matt and I moved, then I was basically pressed into doing volunteer work at a coffee shop, not to mention working for the baseball stadium. I realized very recently that I was starting to get stressed out. :P BUT, I'm not on break (from work) I have a week off and no one can make me do anything. I even made a facebook/tumblr post that stated not to ask me to work, cause I'll just say no.So for this week, my focus will be my art. I have a lot of stuff planned so hopefully I can get a least half done before the next 8-day work week.On a more mundane note: My cat h...

Don't get too excited. This is kinda old hat for me anyway.... kinda. *cough* Anyway, Matt and I talked about the whole marriage thing and I let him know that I wanted a ceremony. I said this a while ago but I've been horrible and have not done any planning at all.  XP I have now started kind of planning and to really get things started, I've set up a fundraiser since we're poor (what else is new? lol) and I've made a 'thank you' gift thing for people who donate certain amounts of whatever.
