It was a beautiful summer day in Gravity Falls, yet the Mystery Shack was quiet. Grunkle Stan had taken Soos and Wendy out on a "business analysis trip" (read: stealing ideas from other, more legitimate businesses) and Mabel had insisted on tagging along with them. With Ford busy in his lab, this left Dipper at the Shack on his own.
Not that he was complaining. He liked the quiet, and it gave him the perfect chance to work on his journal. He muttered to himself as he jotted his notes down on the page. "...and that is why dolphins are not to be trusted..."
