The Unruly Apprentice

    Hello everyone! Today we are going to meet one of the more recent additions to the Brigade - a young night elven lady by the name of Zhandra. 

    Daughter of a prominent night elf known only as a Shadow Matron, Zhandra has enjoyed a privileged and somewhat sheltered youth and upbringing. We can only speculate about the exact reasons of her being 'assigned' to The Brigade, but rumor has it that her increasingly adventurous and cocky attitude did not sit well with her parents. While conducting business with the Brigade, the agents of the Shadow matron simply 'dropped off' a passenger at the Brigade's doorstep, with a sealed letter for the general's eyes only. 

    Thus it came to be, that Zhandra begun to reluctantly (at first), serving as a rank and file grunt - in her eyes no doubt a fall from heaven style of scenario. Originally reluctant to 
comply and quite headstrong, Zhandra has managed to fit in after being befriended by one of the more enigmatic and lonely members of the Brigade - the Lady of Nevon. Some say the ancient magistrix saw something in Zhandra that reminded her of her own past, some say that she just saw a lonely soul and merely offered her company. Whatever the reasons behind this unusual pairing may be, Zhandra's attitude has been reigned in to a manageable level, tempered by Nevon's influence. 



    Although relatively young for Night elven standards, Zhandra is a very skilled and powerful shadow priest. While capable of great feats of destruction, she has studied hard to be able to use the powers of shadow magic to mend and conceal her allies, a skill set that makes her a valuable asset. A final note should be made about her suspected psionic powers - she might, or might not be able to read at least surface thoughts of those nearby, which greatly multiplies her potential for mischief. 

    I have finished Zhandra some time ago as a part of my quick, black and white portrait training. As usual, I have spent some time refining her with a bit of details after I was done. I hope you like the final result!

    Zhandra will definitely try to wiggle out of her duty shifts in order to join in on the fun of the summer events. She is trying to decide what to donate, having several interesting options. So stay tuned. She has no Golden, Truesilver, Silver or Arcanite keys though.
