The Jester's Guide to Redemption: Chapter 11
Who was the mysterious handsome young man that had rescued him from the dormitory bullies on Friday night? The power that this boy commanded was impressive and almost supernatural. Janek wanted to thank him at the earliest available opportunity, but didn’t see him at all on Saturday. He could have knocked on the door next to his where this student resided, but somehow he didn’t have the courage for that.
On Saturday someone called him ‘pizza face’ when he was standing in line at the cafeteria, but he barely noticed the insult. Stefan and his lackeys had completely backed off, and Janek felt hopeful because of the arrival of the stranger. It was strange how the one interaction could entirely shift his perspective on life in Bergstrøm Hall.
However, when Saturday night rolled around and he had not seen his defender, he began to wonder if he had somehow imagined that there was someone living in the dorm room next to his. After all, he had heard no noise from within since Friday.
