Hello, I'm Francesca Politi and live in Italy.
I draw and paint since I remember, together with playing piano, but I "quit" piano when I was 16teen for several reasons so even if that's a big part of my heart and kept playing a bit, since then I got more involved in visual Art.
I achieved my Academic University degree in History of Art, Iconography and Iconology long ago, co. "La Sapienza" University, in Rome, and I went ahead also drawing and painting and planning stories.
I won the 1st national prize for comic contest held by the International School of Comics in Rome, in 2004, and the prize was a free whole year into the Academy itself.
I started photomanipulations and digital painting with my old account here on dArt in 2009, though I was more focused on traditional media. In the moment I got a better pc, a wacom tablet and my beloved Canon Eos I started again with Digital Art, especially enjoying photography, photomanipulations and digital painting - and I made a new account here.
I personally think Art is a neverending path, or better... it ends just with death, so I'm still and will be always into the process of learning, by trials and errors, by hard study, by inspiration, by dreams, by life...
And here we are. I hope You like my gallery, enjoy the journey.
