It raises...
slow at first
a soft steady beat
pulsing through my veins
sending my feet stomping
my hands beating
this rhythm of life into a table top.
If I close my eyes
it will take me over
like a crechiendo of warmth
gripping my soul
as it soars on this thermal of energy.
An unexplicable clarity
of where I belong
in the clouds of this song.
To soar through the skies
with out fear of falling
the heavens hold me close
as I rise and fall
in the chill of moonlight.
Searching the ground
for some hint of where you are.
