Ryuugu Rena

Ryuugu Rena from the anime called Higurashi no naku Koro ni. It is seriously an awesome series and I'd reccommend it, regardless of how bad the animation can be at times - the story is enthralling.

*cough*

ANYWAY.

This is Ryuugu Rena (or Reina), blood stained and standing atop some rubble clenching her hatchet. I am still dire at backgrounds, but I but a lot of effort into colouring Rena herself, and I think the shading and lighting came out looking good, even if the pile of rubble is a pile of rubbish
