APPEARANCE
Appearance & reputation:
So far I know him as quite mysterious and I get the feeling that many other siderians also perceive him as such. Some may find his appearance dark and creepy but I think that those who have personally met him, know him as quite friendly, calm and ‘accessible’.
Shoulder height: 1,62 m Slightly above ‘average’ but not much. He’s very short compared to his family members.
Physical description:
Body: stocky, muscular and with a heavy skeleton, which makes him come across as a big black bear. Quite short and sturdy limbs with big shoulder blades and heavy front quarters. Downwards sloping tiger-like back and relatively narrow, yet muscular rear (pelvis and hindlegs). Heavy, sturdy joints and short metacarpals and metatarsals. Quite big paws with relatively long digits. Rather short neck and big head. Average to long tail.
Head: pronounced heavy and long profile although his muzzle looks quite narrow from the front. ‘Roman’ profile (convex) with one ‘bump’ between his eyes and one ‘bump’ on his nose-bridge. Pronounced cheeks, quite long whisker pads and a bit of a flat chin. Average sized ears with rounded tips. Ears are kinked upwards but not backwards. Intense glare on his bright, light green eyes. Angular eye-shape like his father Stian.
Fur: deep black, possibly with a very subtle blue-ish hue. Quite a thick, and sturdy fur structure. Fluffy tail, with two ‘layers’ - slightly shorter hair op top and longer hair at the sides and bottom of his tail. Fur extensions on his elbows, wrists and ankles. Slightly longer hair on the connective flank skin (‘skirt’) and a ridge or longer hair on the backside of his hindlegs (‘pants’). Dense fur around his throat that mostly points towards the sides. Slightly sleeker, long but still thick fur on top of his neck. Full beard and longer tufts of hair in front of his ears. Longer hair on the middle of his skull, which points backwards and gives him a bit of a ‘mafia’ look. Long, sturdy cheek fur is directed outwards and is slightly pointed.
Jewelry & accessories: so far I haven’t seen him wear anything but in more spiritual settings, I have seen him appear with the ancient Sætansen pentagram that you can see on Sáveron, Håkan and Stian. Otherwise, he doesn’t seem to be the jewelry type.
PERSONALITY & CHARACTER
Personality and mannerisms:
MBTI personality type: INTJ-A
I don’t know him very well just yet. But so far he comes across as calm, patient and kind, despite his rather dark and intense look. He feels quite warm and friendly yet there is something dark hidden in him; something on a deep spiritual, Demonic level.
For what I’ve seen of his life, he come across as tolerant and ‘welcoming’ to others. He may share quite some personal things with family members, but to strangers he can come across as mysterious and nebulous, yet he’s respectful and non-judgmental. He seems to be quite on his own and he comes across as introverted, yet likes to share his territory with family members and he still likes to make contact with other siderians once in a while. When he socializes, he seems to be open minded and friendly. He is not overly caring and mostly promotes independence, also in his own descendants. I think that he’s quite protective of his land and heritage, but not necessarily in a violent way. Or I have not seen that yet. He doesn’t come across as very dominant yet I think he is unyielding and stands his ground when needed.
His personality feels rock solid and he is not easily upset. Overall easy going an chill. He seems confident but I have sensed an insecurity deep inside him, especially in the time when he was exploring who he was, where he belongs and what it all means to him. In those times, he was held back, but not necessarily shy.
He is quite intellectual and constantly searches for reasons and with that, he is quite persistent. He quietly explored his own spiritual and artistic Passions and liked to get lost in it. Overall, he feels rather balanced and peaceful.
Type of humor: possibly some innocent little jokes. The kind of friendly, encouraging sarcasm. I also sense some subtle playfulness in him.
Voice, manner of speaking: rather soft and dreamy with a heavy undertone. When I once heard him, he sounded a bit like Captain Holly from the original Watership Down movie (1978).
Sexuality: heterosexual and polygamous for as far as I know.
Spirituality and philosophy: deep affiliation with Satan-Lucifer and the Demons. He also has a strong connection to his Sætansen ancestors, particularly the Demon father of the dynasty: Sáveron. I also feel him as strongly connected with Life in general and the Nature around him. He expresses his deep spirituality through art and music and this has become a big, and import part of whom he is as a person.
Aesthetics: the few times that he has appeared to me in an astral context, he appeared in a deep dark blue or black, misty setting – quite like the background of this reference sheet. Overall, his aesthetic feels dark; a comfortable, mysterious and to me very pleasant kind of darkness. I often clearly see a lighter sort of thin mist around him. Maybe a cosmic nebula fits him well. So I just tend to just call him ‘nebulous’ or ‘hazy’.
Fears: losing the connection with his ancestors and with Demons and thereby losing part of his identity.
Dreams: to find his place in the ancient dynasty and find his way (back) to Demons.
Interest, hobbies, occupation:
He has a strong interest in history in general and is quite into art (particularly music). He is quite ‘cultural’ but he also enjoys the thrill of a hunt and a long patrol and he feels connected to the living beings around him. He has done quite some historical research on various topics, but mostly dived into the history of his own family. On his quest for answers, he had become the guardian of the Ancient Sætansen Fortress and there he has also learned to play the ancient pipe organ (a siderian equivalent) named Sidereus Rex, that was last played by his ancestor Håkan Sætansen. Music and art had become quite a Passion of his, aside from history.
Special skills: He has quite some keen spiritual senses and can ‘smell’ if someone is connected to non-physical beings, and I think he can eventually also see them. I consider his overall balanced personality as a skill on its own.
STORY
Stállo was born north of the siderian metacluster named Mistfjord in the central Fjordlands (Norway), in a bit of a remote area. During the first years of his life, he only vaguely remembered having been with his mother and maybe some other females. When he as a few years old, another male appeared in his life, who seemed to be his father and not long after his mother got another cub again (and possibly another one later). Stállo’s childhood was relatively quiet and peaceful, yet he was always told to be extremely careful with one animal in particular: the human. He didn’t understand why they were more dangerous than bears or hyaenas but he always remained cautious, as his mother had taught him. He got along well with his siblings and when he was old enough to travel longer distances, his parents took him along to the learning ground* in the metacluster, where he could meet other cubs and learn things from experienced siderians.
As he was maybe 10 years old, before he reached puberty, his mother told him that her mate was actually not Stállo’s real father. He was confused, yet he had already felt that he was different than his siblings even though his stepfather tried to treat all cubs equally (which isn’t always the case for male siderians - especially under dire circumstances, I’ve seen cases of infanticide). His mother explained that she had been mating with two white males in her young adult years and one of them was Stállo’s real father – yet she didn’t know who of the two. But they are now both gone, she said. He had many more questions but she didn’t tell him more. “Later” she promised and she hinted at some of the current social tensions between several families around Mistfjord. It was best if his identity remained obscured until he is old enough to defend himself alone. That only made him more insecure and left him with more questions. She told him to tell others that his stepfather was his real father and Stállo wondered why she was so anxious about others knowing about his ancestry.
During his adolescent years, he kept searching for hints and asked his mother for more information, but she still didn’t tell him more. His stepfather and half-siblings still treated them as an equal member of the family but he couldn’t help but feel increasingly more different. He spent more time around the metacluster and tried to find out which families had established their territories nearby and who could be his father. This search led into another growing interest of his: history. The things he learned about ecals and siderian history at the learning ground grew into a fascination and besides that, he developed an interest in art and music. The more he dived into this, the more it took a spiritual turn and he felt that this had to mean something deep.
Meanwhile, there was a constant threat of humans and he learned why his mother had always taught him to be extremely cautious with them. Indeed, they killed siderians in an ugly way and it happened increasingly often that somebody disappeared. Something didn’t feel right here. He understood that predators of different species compete with each other and sometimes kill each other. However, for siderians -as one of the top predators- it felt wrong to be this scared. Yet he had no alternative than to live on in caution.
Nevertheless, in his late adolescent years, he felt his independence and interest in females grow (he was quite early to try some mating…). He had been exploring the territories near his parents’ homeland and around cluster to find a place for himself. He had made some good contacts with other siderians and knew well who was living where. When he was 19 years old, he had noticed the arrival of several members of the famous, yet quite dreaded Sætansen dynasty. Where they suddenly arrived from wasn’t clear but his mother called him back to their home territory to tell him something important. She asked if he knew about the rivalry between the Sætansen dynasty and the Nivalis dynasty. He had indeed learned that Arctodus Nivalis coordinated the cluster and that particularly Matthias Sætansen was somebody to avoid. She explained that the two males with whom she had mated in the same period, were Bjørn Nivalis and Stígandr Sætansen and that there were rumors that Stígandr had murdered Bjørn before he had disappeared too and was possibly killed as well. But now, Stígandr miraculously returned. She told Stállo that he shared so many features with Stígandr that she had no longer doubted who the father was. The puzzle pieces came together; he had learned about the Sætansen dynasty and had already felt strongly attracted to them, yet he had always suppressed that feeling and never voiced his interest. But now that it made sense and he felt strangely at peace by knowing this. Although many more questions flooded him. His mother still seemed anxious about this revelation and urged him to be careful with approaching any of the Sætansen members. Yet both his mother and stepfather supported his journey to explore his identity and place and trusted his already evident wisdom.
Stállo took the time to process this and carefully overthought what to do with this information. The desire to make contact with anyone of this ancient dynasty was strong, yet he wanted to calculate his moves and kept himself hidden. He spent his time in Mistfjord and silently observed his real father who was apparently trying to gather other siderians to start an action group to deal with the human problem. Stállo felt hesitant to approach Stígandr now that he seemed so occupied with this mission and he waited for the moment that felt right.
When he finally got his courage together and approached his father, he expressed an interest in the missions to deal with the human conflicts and offered help. Stígandr stared intently at him and asked him straight away who he was. “I think I’m your son” he blurted out a little too impulsively.
“How old are you?” Stígandr asked. “nearly twenty” Stállo answered.
“I know your mother. Is she alive and doing well?” his father asked.
“yes” Stállo answered while searching for more words.
“Good. I did not forget her” he answered firmly.
“She has another mate now” Stállo quickly answered but regretted his words as they came out.
An awkward silence followed and his thoughts raced through his head. He didn’t want to take too much of Stígandr’s time as he seemed more occupied with his mission. In the surge of the moment, he offered to join the action group to which Stígandr answered “then we will meet regularly as the plans progress”
Stígandr remained rather distant but had taken the time speak to him a bit more and said that he could just call him ‘Stian’. He explained about the Sætansen dynasty and told Stállo what happened with Bjørn and Stállo’s mother. He admitted that he murdered Bjørn, who had bullied him as a cub and had tried to steal his mate. Stállo had told his mother and half-siblings about this and said farewell as he left to join Stian’s activities. He met several others of the Sætansen dynasty and was intrigued by Matthias, his great-grand father and head of the family. He also got along well with his second cousin Ravn and his uncle Goran. Despite the Sætansen reputation, he was surprised how welcoming and easy going they actually were. In the first few years, he followed his father to the Northern Fjordlands and participated in the actions that they took against humans. He noticed that Matthias had a particular interest in him and when they returned to MistFjord, he showed Stállo the ancient Fortress. A whole world opened for him as he was overwhelmed by how much art, history, science and ecals the Sætansens had accumulated over the many generations. He got quite captivated by Håkan Sætansen, Matthias’ dark father. He had heard learned about history of ‘the Tyrant’ but now he saw that there was much more behind these stories.
The more time he spent on the ancient Sætansen lands, near MistFjord, the more he wanted to stay there rather than fight his father’s action group that had become ‘the Fjordland Force’. He still contributed when needed and provided knowledge but quite to his surprise, he felt that he was left in charge to man the Fortress while the others were away fighting.
In his late twenties, several family members returned to the Sætansen lands as his grandfather Morten’s injuries had not healed and he was seriously ill. He didn’t improve and also Stian returned with Stállo’s half siblings to say farewell to Morten. Meanwhile, he took the opportunity to ask Matthias many questions now that he was around again (he was quite active in the Force, despite his high age). He had showed Stállo the skeleton and pelt of Håkan and had told the stories. Stállo had stared at Håkan’s remains for long a long time and felt attracted to him. He wondered if he had known Håkan from before. He tried to reach his spirit and more memories of an ancient brotherly connection welled up. Yet the memories were tainted by pain and torture and he remembered them as if they were his own. He also learned about a shared passion that he had with Håkan, namely music and he found the ancient (siderian equivalent) pipe organ named Sidereus Rex, which was last played by Håkan and now again by Stállo. Matthias had also showed the ‘catacombs’ and told about the Demonic ancestry. As Stállo learned about this, he felt the ancient bonds regain strength. Sáveron Sætansen, the very Demon ancestor of the dynasty had reached out for him and told him vital fragments of the history and Stállo’s place in it. Yet he felt like he was missing somebody; a lost close relative.
Meanwhile, the Fjordland Force returned to the area near MistFjord to attack an big human settlement there, although the mission had failed in previous attempts. Stállo participated more actively in these missions, especially when humans had tried to attack the siderian metacluster. In one of the missions, his great grandfather Matthias got shot and died. This loss impacted him more than he had anticipated and a weight of responsibility fell on his shoulders; now he was truly in charge of the Fortress and the representation of the Sætansen dynasty in MistFjord. As he tried to do this with kindness, it paid off with interest from sideresses. Over time, two or three females had expressed their interest in him and he had invited them on the Sætansen lands as some carried cubs fathered by him. His second cousin Ravn was also still around. Stállo noticed that Ravn’s daughter Sabyn also had a strong connection to the ancient spirits and one time he caught her playing the organ. He was surprised by her skills and she told him that Håkan had taught her. This motivated him to dive deeper into the spiritual bonds again. He got more indications that he had lived in the dynasty before, possibly even as one of Sáveron’s sons, together with Håkan. He learned more about their shared bond with Lucifer and he had reached out for Him several times.
As the years passed, he watched his own kids grow up. He still stayed in contact with his father Stian and supported the Force distantly. Only when they were to attack the biggest human settlement of the Fjordlands, he travelled away and joined the fight. This was the biggest battle the Force had ever organized and everybody was needed. Many siderians died in this battle, including his half-sister Siri, yet they considered the mission victorious and had driven most humans away. After this, Stállo returned to the Sætansen territory, along with Helgar, his uncle’s youngest son. Helgar wasn’t so interested in fighting either and since he got along well with Stállo, he preferred to live on their shared territory.
As Stian travelled back to the Northern Fjordlands and Stállo stayed on the ancient lands near MistFjord, their paths separated again. In the following years, Stian returned briefly one more time before the news reached Stállo that Stian was shot dead during one of the scouting missions. He would have wanted to join the last tribute to his father, but it was too long of a travel. He heard that his half-sister Ekster eventually took the position as General of the Force and again, he offered support in the form of knowledge and possibly some ecal based armor and weapons.
The years that followed were relatively calm and he noticed that his father’s efforts had paid off. Most humans had left the siderians alone and any humans trying to settle again and shoot siderians, were taken handled by the Fjordland Force. However, he was concerned about Eskter’s strategy. Several other siderians with whom he had spoken (whenever he crossed paths with the Force again), shared this concern. She was even more fanatic than Stian was and she didn’t seem to have the healthy portion of fear that Stian had. Several incidents had already happened and despite her success in safeguarding the land against humans, the costs were getting higher and higher.
Indeed, one of his distant relatives, Falco, returned to the Sætansen lands after his brother Torstein was shot dead in the main camp. Falco was too hurt and angry to ever work with Ekster again. Stállo welcomed Falco and his mate Raldimir and offered them a part of the territory. Meanwhile, Stállo had developed quite a close bond with Helgar and together they had made sure that the Sætansen Fortress was kept alive and inherited by the next generations.
As age crept up with him, he reflected over his long life and was satisfied with what he had done. He saw the Sætansen Legacy live on in his own kids but also in the other lineages of his family. He got old and when the end of his life drew nearer, he reached out for Sáveron again. When it was time, Sáveron welcomed him back in Hell and he was determined to find both Håkan and this other missing close relative. His journey had just started.

There's something very Stian about him. I've always marvelled how I can see Stian in each of his children, even when they are a very different personality, there's something in their face, in their features, that is so unmistakably Stian. Maybe because I know him so well, been a fan for sooo many years :3 He has more of it. Not just the features, but also the spirit. And yet also something from Sáveron himself. There's magick and hidden power. He's like a mysterious shadow, his energy is enigmatic, as powerful and yet unseen as a storm at night. And I also feel the subtle similarity with.... someone else. In energy. The feeling with which you've drawn him. I realize, he is like the missing link, to Stian. Oh, the depth of all that....
