Retiring DA

Howdy y'all. Haven't really updated the journal since 2017, huh? I've been a busy bee. Launched a few websites, taken on more responsibility at work, enjoying married life, traveling. All that good adult stuff. Staying healthy and relatively sane in what has become of our world in 2020. This site has changed a lot in the last few years and seems to be less conducive to fic posting. All my beautiful thumbnail chapter art, courtesy of Fishbone76, have been wiped away. Formatting chapters and coding is a small nightmare. I just don't care to post here, tbh. I'm still active on the husk that is Tumblr and all my writing will always be available on AO3. I haven't decided if I'm gonna retire FFN yet. FFN has been getting duped and hacked to high heaven in recent years, making it less useable as a platform. So hit me up on Tumblr if you'd like to chat. I'm still playing video games and still writing when I get a chance. I hope y'all are doing well in the crazy world we live in lately.

How have y'all been?? 2017 is almost over! Wooo! We made it! :dummy::work: I did manage to complete National Novel Writing Month in November! 50,186 words written , give or take. I accidentally deleted the outline for one of my Wynonna Earp fics which fucked up my count, plus I spent several days' worth of words trying to recover it. Otherwise, it was pretty fun minus the black hole that was Thanksgiving week. I might try another Writing Month-type deal in spring 2018 that isn't bookended by either my husband's birthday or a ton of major American holidays/family visits. I'm pretty much just 100% Tumblr these days. It fulfills my short attention span and desire to interact as lazily as possible. Good news: I've been writing! A LOT! Like 75k words since August. :dummy: Bad news: It hasn't been for QGA. Or Mass Effect. Or video games in general.
