Growing up, I was always surrounded by strong women who told me that I could be anything because I was a girl. If I worked hard enough, any goal I had in mind would be accomplished. I still believe in that dream, but there are many people out there who want us to stay quiet, stay in our place, and have children.

Us women are more than just child bearers. We can be leaders, we can be strong, we can be kind and compassionate, and we can follow our dreams.
