Love to read. Sort of magpie like in personality; constantly distracted by the clouds, trees, pictures, books, weird articles... weird people. I've never been bored; but have never had enough time for everything I wanted to do.
I sleep very little (never have been able to stay down for very long) and can be something of night owl; however, in truth, I creep around at all hours of the day and night.

My alter-ego, Ars Maleficarum, on Renderosity. -- I've abandoned Renderosity; mostly because of its narrow scope artistically. I am interested in more than 3D art. Most of the 3D images that are there I've migrated over here to Deviantart (hence the AM initial you see on a few images in my gallery). I also abandoned Renderosity as Evoluzione long ago, but that was due to some mental housekeeping that needed to take place.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactI think that is a really great example of having a strong idea (strength of concept) behind an image. The composition of the image is a slightly tilted triangle leading the viewers eye up to the focus of the work; the cat gently tip toeing over to the Moon. Strangely, as I look more deeply at this image I also see the tree as a sort of arm and a hand. The two branches at the top, like a thumb and index finger, about to pluck a fruit, the Moon, from the sky. Also, an excellent color choice and it use helps to reinforce the shape of the composition as the deep aqua fades slowly up to meet the sky. Furthermore, I always greatly admire anyone brave enough to pick up watercolors.
You're most welcome! I love that you're images have such a nice classic sense of composition to them. I think that is sometimes lost among digital artists.
Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a well organized and purposeful image that comes across as a stolen snapshot. An extraordinarily difficult feat to achieve in 3D art where we pose, pose, re-pose, re-pose <scream> re-pose again and often all resulting in a more contrived feeling. This image does not. Additionally, there are a few neat tricks of composition which draw the eyes in a circle about the image. We are drawn naturally to the figure dancing and framed between the lamp post and the column. Your eyes are then guided upward by the all the linear movement straight up to the curved architecture and then curled down to the stairs; returning satisfactorily back to the dancing subject, the lines of the stairs pointing you nicely back at the figure. The lighted center post also places the center of the image pretty high, but this is okay since the framed figure is right below it. Only critical thought was on the second lighted lamp post near the edge which competes a little with the other in this image. But, that may in fact add to the spontaneity of the mood; so, perhaps, only a thought, rather than a real criticism. Very well done.
