Computer scientist, retired company manager, Eugenio Contatore began his artistic career in 2011, at the Pisa Academy of Art with Maestro Bruno Pollacci.

Having moved to Milan in 2015, he attended the Studio of Maestro Francesco Dossena, specializing in portraits and figures from life.

Having returned to Pisa in 2022, he resumed attending the Pisa Academy of Art.

Specializing in portraits and landscapes, he prefers oil, acrylic, charcoal, sepia and sanguine painting.

He has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, such as the Reviews of the Pisa Academy of Art. He recently set up the Personal Exhibition “Any colour you like” at the Concept River Art Gallery in Pisa.

He was selected to exhibit at the Dantebus Florentia and Dantebus Margutta galleries.

Loving art in all its aspects, he enjoys writing and has published two books entitled “Il sole nella testa” and “Nudi alla meta”, respectively.
