Where I live we have these flowers called ”Scilla” or ”Scillas”. They are also called “Bluestar” or “Bluestars” and we also have the variant called “Russian Bluestar” that is a few shades deeper blue. My guess there is Russian Blue in Bluestar from Warriors so this was a perfect fit ^^. Also the song from “Cats” Memory suited her. Also I left in the mistakes in the video. I feel like a lot of artist are still afraid to show the process as it is so I left the mistakes in and did not edit them out (like not being happy with a sketch, redraw Mistyfoot and Mosskit etc).
SPOILER WARNING. If you have not read the first Arc of Warriors (“Into the Wild “ up to “The Darkest Hour” do not proceed reading. SPOILER BEGINS NOW.
Reread the first art and begun again on the second. One thing I totally missed the first time around reading was that Bluestar did not give up her kits to become leader per say. It was more complicated. Like Brokenstar, who trained kits that were too young to become warriors, the Thunderclan to-be deputy was just as cruel. Bluestar was faced with the choice to have them and nursing them and see them die far too early or give them away to a safe clan and eventually become leader. I understand her choice much more this time around and I have a lot more respect for her, not that I liked her behaviour but I can understand her. It just makes her downfall so much more heartbreaking.
I have no idea what this is, but cats rule!
