I've found that a lot of people use the photos I've posted under Creative Commons on Flickr, so I'm putting some of the landscape and animal pictures up here as well. My photos will all have the CC license. Feel free to use them photos on your blogs, brushes, photoshop collages or wherever - just include an attribution like this:

New Galleries Added!
For several years, I've been maintaining a site called "A Museum of my Favorite Artists". It is an ever-changing online scrapbook featuring the artists I find most interesting and intriguing. It is the kind of art collection I would like to build. An added benefit has been to make the acquaintance of some of the artists featured in the museum. Please drop by and let me know which works you like!

Livio Ceschin: Etchings with an almost surreal level of natural detail
An artist that maintained an original style when it wasn't fashionable to do so, and continues to produce amazing sculpture and drawings.

Museum of My Favorite Artists

Couple of animations to show you...

Groboto Animations
Been experimenting with some Groboto animations. These work by stringing together several bots, and changing their settings such that the morphs between them will seem to be moving or growing in some way.
It's slow going for me, but here are two.
The first one isn't really successful at wiggling around naturally, but the second one is starting to get there.

Sphere
For anyone that thinks a rendering a "sphere" is no big deal - take a look at this site: SPHERE. The best of the best give us their take on the theme, with fantastic results. Anyone can contribute - and actually they don't require that it be done in a 3D app, just that it be really cool.

Ultra-cheap micromotor technology, allows cellphone cameras to zoom and focus. Folding makes a thin sheet of a piezoelectric ceramic material work like a motor.
