Dystopia-Maxima

In 2015, I started a tumblr blog ( dystopia-maxima.tumblr.com/arc… ), which is politically, philosophically, spiritually and ecologically oriented. That Tumblr blog required the creation of numerous photomanipulations and artistic photographs, and from 2017 onward of GIF animations. At some point, I decided to have a test Deviantart as alternative platform.   However, I quickly and largely moved away from that initial goal and found here a way to express my own creative potential (mostly in the form of photographs) in directions that I had never explored before. I am an amateur and I am more interested in the experimental and conceptual aspects of artworks than on their technical aspects. So, please forgive me, when my pictures present some imperfections. I have a predilection for dark topics (urbex, industrial, graveyards,...). However I am not always dark and post other things as well. We are living dystopian times but I think that a brighter future is possible if we try to change the world. As Henri Bergson once said, "the future is not what will happen, but what we will do".

Please note that I usually pay a special attention to the title of my pictures. These titles often include irony or black humour (sometimes in the form of litotes), but sometimes with a deep message.
