Sulking about science

Wow what's this, no bad memes this time? Yeah, I just felt like updating, feels like forever since I spoke to you all. The first three weeks of university haven't been the easiest. Bioinformatics, need I say more. Ghees what a nightmare. An interesting and important nightmare, but still a nightmare. It's all about making sense out of the thousands and thousands and lines of seemingy meaningless AGTC Dna codes. It would be interesting, but there's just so many different websites that solve different problems. Ugh. It feels like being thrown into a maze and trying to make your way out, but instead of having the time to map out your environment, you're being teleported to another part of the maze like every hour. It's frustrating. 

My other course is much more interesting. Basics of Infectious Diseases, it's called. It's about infectious diseases (so viruses, bacterias, parasites and the like) from a biological (not medical) point of view. Really cool. Except the labwork went all wrong. The problem with working with organic things in a lab is that everything looks like water. You've got a sample, dissolve it and then you have a bottle with what looks like water. And then? Procedure procedure to make it visible, but then in the end when you end up with nothing, how can you tell what went wrong? Well you can't, tough luck. This is also exactly what happened with my and my lab buddies. For four times. Yeey. 

Ugh, okay. Enough with the sulking. On a brighter note, I'm probably going to do Inktober again this year. I've hesitated about it a lot because of how awfully wrong it went last year, but I think if I stretch properly and take a break once I have exams I will manage. Let's hope for the best. 

Also, on a sidenote. It's always more fun to do it with more people, so guuuuys INKTOBER, who's in!!!
