So It's been like 6 months since the last time I posted any new info, so I figured I might as well update this thing. Tattooing has absolutely become my life. It has become one of the most humbling, rewarding and frustrating experiences I've ever encountered. I knew going into it that it would be hard, but man. Well, I made it through my first year as a tattoo artist. If definitely had it's trials and tribulations and there were many times I wanted to quit early on, and really still to this day. It's definitely a emotional cocktail shaker of a job. However, I'm becoming more and more comfortable every day and the quality of my work is rapidly on the rise. We are entering slow season and demand is lessening, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Summer was good to me and I was able to build a decent nest egg to sit on for the next couple of months. So I've been waiting for my probationary period to end to announce this. I have officially been accepted as a tattoo apprentice at my local tattoo shop. I couldn't be happier. I will be able to support myself as an artist and do what I love.
