All Periods Are PMS: During the voyage to Atlantis, Emily experiences her menstrual period and gets short-tempered, emotional, or irritated with mood swings. Mole and Vinny learn the hard way of not triggering Emily’s temper with a prank during her period. All of the Other Reindeer: The directors of the museum believed that her brother Milo and their grandfather, Thaddeus were nutcases, including her. Throughout her childhood, Emily was ridiculed by other people for her disabilities. Back at the New York School for the Deaf, she fitted in her deaf classmates and had it easy with them. Chapter 10: Dinner and Campout Nighttime rolled in the darkened area. The green light from the hive dimmed down. Campfires were set up and each crew member was sitting around them. Emily was over by the bathing area, deciding to wash up for dinner. A portable water pump was set up with a bucket beneath and a rectangular bar of white soap. The woman grasped her hand on the lever, and began to pump a few times until water began to pour out. Emily's hands reached underneath the pouring water and soaked her hands from the tips of her fingers to her wrists. She reached for the soap and scrubbed her hands together against the firm bar until suds of bubbles appeared. The dirty blonde placed the soap down and moved her hands in a gentle movement. She worked on between her fingers, underneath her fingernails, and the dorsal and palms of her hands. Once she was satisfied with her clean hands, Emily rinsed her soap-covered hands underneath the water until they were completely free of suds.

Chapter 9: The Journey Part 2 A few days later, Mole’s sore groin had healed and the crew began to move again. They entered an area filled with pure white snow. Everyone was dressed in their heavy winter gear to keep themselves properly warm from the freezing cold air. Milo was dressed in a thick winter trench coat, a thick hat, mittens, and boots. He was reading a dialect in the journal, while his teeth chattered frantically from the cold. Rourke and Helga looked at him impatiently. Once the young man finished, he pointed over to the way out. Emily, in her heavy winter gear, did the best she could to warm up her brother. ________________________________________________________ Later on, the crew arrived at a dead end. There was an enormous and thick stone wall, blocking their way. Milo, Emily, Rourke, Helga, Vinny, Audrey, Cookie, and a crew member stood there with their shadows dancing in front of them. “Looks like we have a little roadblock,” Rourke said, and glanced at Vinny.

Chapter 6: The First Lesson Soon enough, the Ulysses was deep in the dark ocean and was near the bottom. Back in the submarine, an elderly woman in her early sixties, known as Mrs. Wilhelmina Bertha Packard, was sitting at a cluttered desk of dirty dishes, an apple core, a hairbrush, a perfume bottle, a coffee mug and tea cup filled with used cigarette butts. The woman had light skin, gray eyes, light gray hair tied in a low bun, and her finger nails were covered in red nail polish. She wore an olive-green dress with buttons in the front, brown-heeled boots and a headphone with a microphone. Mrs. Packard worked as a radio operator and was enjoying not just her job, but making phone calls to her friends from the surface. "So, I says to him, 'What's wrong with my meatloaf?' It had three beds, a writing desk, and a sink with a little mirror hanging above it. Chapter 3: The Deal of a Lifetime It was dark and stormy by nighttime. Milo and Emily both walked home from the museum feeling depressed and hopeless, because of today. First of all, Milo's proposal was rejected by the board, and Emily was called "a useless woman with that disability of yours" by their boss. and it's not just Disney, it's all the studios that Disney owns that'll stop releasing physical media like 20th Century Fox, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm.
