I've seen alot of people playing with HDR, with quite a range of different reslults. Some good, some bad. To me the aim of HDR for the sake of artistic photography is to not take the effect too far, almost stopping when you are at the dynamic range of the human eye. Alot of the work I've seen so far is quite flat, with no real contrast, or definition. Two elements which make photography so appealing.It seems it is quite difficult to make an HDR scene which still will appeal to the viewer, especially with my high contrast high definition style. I've had some time to step back and look at my life. Where I've been, where I'm going, and where I am now.I really miss those days, when DA was my hub, my centre of interest. I miss the closeness of the community that fostered my creativity and pushed me in new directions. I miss being inspired and pushed to better myself and expand my knowledge of my craft.These days it is such an effort to pick up the camera and get out of the house, and near impossible to be captivated by what is going on around me.
