Description
Based on 'Hurricane' by '30 Seconds to Mars' www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdJDPe…
"Tell me would you kill to save a life?"
"Tell me would you kill to prove you're right"
This entire song fits Ren and the story idea so well.
With all we have been discussing about foresight which Ren has as a powerful night elf. (and mostly God's ultimate foresight and omnipotence)
The hurricane inside of deciding right and wrong manifest in him eventually making hard decisions--fighting for humans in the apocalyptic Harvest Moon, his development with foresight to understand why he must let some live and die, unable to decide eventually if removing freewill is really the best option. His killing develops from just saving himself and sister, to living through the eyes and lives of humans and sacrificing his wants and beliefs for the greater good.
The people in the picture look hazy and attached to him. He feels overwhelmed. Some he hurts and some he makes happy--but all for what he thinks and is currently learning each day is the greater good. A hurricane in his soul, a manifestation of a real fight outside, and he feels it is all taking them underground-dead.
He is the villain and hero.
"Tell me would you kill to save a life?"
"Tell me would you kill to prove you're right"
These questions keep changing and growing more difficult as he grows.
From almost becoming a demon due to bitterness and killing, to saving his sister no matter what--who sacrificed herself to save him, to deciding to fight for mankind by taking away freewill or letting their freewill dictate how best they can be saved-death, or life. A very confusing choice awaits him. Knowledge and foresight is power, but a price to pay.
The web of life connects all, every choice, everyone. The more you know the clearer and yet harder it gets. It is a gift and curse.
foresight.
