'DerectumArt' is, thematically, the crystallized Light that shines across the infinite landscapes of the great Unconscious.
The artist behind the brand is Alexandru; He was born in Romania, grew up in Italy and currently lives in the UK, perfecting his digital art and writing fiction, philosophy and poetry. He is fascinated by mythology, storytelling, religion, spirituality, folklore, digital design, videogames and music.
He is currently working on illustrated fiction books (Scifi and dark, character-driven drama), and his digital prints. He also owns a podcast called ActiveImagine, dedicated to the exploration of artists and their journeys, as well as conversations on AI Art and the wisdom that experts in the industry can bring to younger, aspiring artists. To the sound of music. To the rhythms of poetry and the dance of particles.
We must wake up from all these strange differences that have taken possession of our souls. From these peculiar, alien forms of chaotic thought that make us question and doubt who we are. That corrupt the past and turn history into guilt.
That ignores mythology, with its truth beyond time.
We must wake up from our Wilful Blindness to the uglification and decadence of culture. To the death of values and the tossing away, so pridefully, of tradition.
We must wake up to our arrogant ignorance and insistence that there is, somehow, no God. How could this be when you awake every day with faith in tomorrow? How can this be when you make a pact with the future, only with the faith in its existence? In the path to your goal?
Where else would God be if not in the emergence of the future? Beyond the next second, trapped in time? Maybe that’s where we lost sight of Her. Drowned beneath waves of

Alyattes and the Origins of Money

The first coin is born out of a union of contrasts.
What if the Unconscious demands the birth of a new god? The god of money and coin, born Now but simultaneously as old as time. A god we have all been worshipping for millennia. We could fittingly name him Alyattes.
And what better way to dream it up than by asking our newly-invented tech that does nothing else but dream?"
