Rififi (1955)

Description: In this classic French heist-gone-wrong film noir, a group of jewel thieves captures, blindfolds, OTM gags and ties to chairs a middle-aged couple who have the misfortune of living above the target jewelry store so the crooks can cut a hole in the apartment floor to enter the shop without triggering the door or window alarms. The scenes are a bit dark, as they are shot at night time.  Action starts at the 45:45 mark and ends about a minute later. Once the couple are secured, they aren't seen again.
