Hi, I'm currently a Houston based professional Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Art Teacher. I've been teaching since 2009 and enjoy the challenges it presents. I've had the opportunity to illustrate for a few publications, books, design logos for some local sports teams and clubs, and designed many clothing designs.
I enjoy all types of art and dabble in many of them. Most of my illustrations are done in a few different ways: charcoal/pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, oil painting, scratch art, and digital drawing/painting. I have a hard time finding the motivation or time to do my own personal art because I teach all the time, but I love it when I do.
I have a wide set of interests. Some of my favorite authors are Michael Crichton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Andre Norton, Piers Anthony, J.K. Rowling. I love movies and have too many favorites to name them all, but some are Pan's Labrinth, the Star Wars films (originals), Jurassic Park, Goonies, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Harry Potter films.
Enjoy the art and feel free to send me a message.

Hello and welcome to DA! Nice to meet you!
Some basic things on how to get known:
- Post art regularly (but quality over quantity)
- Be active
- Comment, fave, give llamas and watches to other deviants
- Use the Deviation ThumbShare forum (https://www.deviantart.com/forum/showcase/thumbs/)
- Post your art in groups, preferably large and active ones
Else:
- I can recommend the art forums for any art-related questions.
- DAWelcomeWagon has lots of tutorials about the site and how to navigate it.
- ProjectComment is great for getting art critique!
- And, of course, have fun!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me!
