Ok, so, big life changes! It's been now over a year since my Disability finally got approved, so I finally got the last of the minimal back pay they were offering me..... I spent 12 years fighting to get Disability with my seizures, and they only gave me 3 years worth..... But, I was able to buy a Canon 90D, Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8, Sigma 60-600mm, and an RV!! I hope to be hitting the road in January 2020, with my first stop at Quartzite, just to get into the culture, then a bit of traveling and some, unfortunately, time back here at the hotel I've been wasting my time at for the past year, and then off to the wild browning yonder.............

Nothing like having Christmas in February! Except I bought it all myself...My laptop was having trouble opening Adobe Lightroom, and even running the internet smoothly, and so I got a new laptop, a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 Series with 8th Gen i7 and 16 GB RAM. Way better than the Acer i3 with 6GB RAM.I also bought the smallest and largest pieces of camera equipment that I've ever owned. Well, I suppose there are some gear smaller than the DJI Osmo Pocket, but not much as useful. So yeah, I got an Osmo Pocket! I have moved from Trinidad, CA to the Carrizo Plains of the California Valley. This place is famous for its wildflower blooms in the Spring, and for the San Andreas Fault. A few things happened in Trinidad, and I no longer felt like staying, and so I moved back to San Luis Obispo County, but to the east side of the county. I'm now about halfway between San Luis Obispo and Bakersfield... There are lots of photography opportunities around here, as long as I can actually get out. Even though the roads are straight and empty, I still need to be not having seizures in order to drive safely... lolAnd I've replaced my dead 70D with a 60D. Hopeful...
