Thank You Rachael Lillis (1969 - 2024)

Veronica Taylor, the OG voice of Ash Ketchum, announced on August 12th, 2024 via Twitter that Rachael Lillis, the OG voice actress of Misty Williams and Jessie Murrow, had passed away on August 10th, 2024 after fighting her long battle with cancer. Having only met her once myself, she was an absolute sweetheart, a kind hearted individual who brought these 2 characters and then some to life on the TV screen, while creating many amazing childhood memories for countless people all over the world. Rachael, thank you so much for your incredible talent and kindness. You will never be forgotten and the Pokémon community/fandom will never be the same without you. It was confirmed from Rachael's sister, Laurie Orr, that Ms. Lillis was born in 1969, not 1978. To whoever spread that false information about Rachael's birth year being in '78, shame on you forever.
