Hello, sweetums! It's a pleasure to have you visiting. My name is Cyme, and you may be wondering what precisely is a "cyme"? According to Merriam-Webster, a cyme is "a determinate inflorescence [. . .] containing several flowers with the first-opening central flower terminating the main axis and subsequent flowers developing from lateral buds". If the name isn't enough to give it away, I'm a floral enthusiast.

Herbology and gardening are both major hobbies of mine. I have a particular fondness for succulents, cacti, and medicinal herbs. My favorite flowers include peonies, lavender, lilies, hydrangeas, and roses. I also enjoy fungi and have my own reishi mushroom in my living room.

In addition to a large collection of plants, as an avid beachcomber, I boast a large array of shells and nautical entities. Recently, I have also begun developing a collection of crystals.

When I am not preoccupied with one of these hobbies, then you can safely assume I'm with my pupper playing Pokemon Go - we're team Valor! Aislyn is a four year-old border collie whose name is derived from the Gaelic word "aisling" meaning "daydream" or "vision". While Aislyn is the apple of my eye, I am also an admirer of all things alien and spoopy, in particular witches and succubi.
