Chapter 2: Unwanted Meetings Lucille was browsing through some the fresh produce that is in front of her at the local marketplace. Today is Saturday and she enjoys it because not only she isn’t working during the weekends, but she’s given more time to take care of herself. Plus she needs to be able to buy a few groceries anyways. She wanted to get some fruits and spices since she does have some ideas to make some desserts later on next week. Though, no matter what, she’s seem to not be focusing as much and spaced out a bit. Even when she’s free away from work or others there, she still can’t get over what happened a few days ago. From her aunt to agree to a date planned by Maynott to the date itself, it has been distracting her throughout the week. Chapter 1: The Star of the Rare Bird It’s 5:30am in the morning when the alarm started to blare out in the bedroom. A groan was heard before a hand reached out and shut the thing off. Everything fell into silence for a few seconds before some shuffling noise happened and a woman got up. She rubbed her eyes to adjust them and look at one of the windows that is half covered by curtains. The light shines through the opening and she can sorta see her neighbor across from her. She’s not a big fan of getting up pretty early in the morning, but she has to head to work to help set up the place and do some practice later on. Plus she needs to get ready for the day and buy some stuff later for her home. Lucille reluctantly gets up out of bed and heads downstairs to get some breakfast. She never really has time to make some breakfast due to not having any time for it and rather have some coffee and pastry. The only time she does make some is when she finished some set up at work every morning.
