 About me: I am a retired Chief Engineer and an alumni of India's famous engineering institution, the University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee). Following my retirement, I became interested in Google Earth and Google Maps and joined the (now-defunct) Google Earth Community (GEC), where I had over 5,000 posts under the alias of CuriousJM. GEC was subsequently closed by Google, and now I am a moderator and an active member of its unofficial successor, the Google Earth Community Forums. I am also an Eight-Star Local Guide of Google Maps.

I also have two blogs that make use of Google Street View and Google Earth.  These are:

 These blogs got a mention in the  One World Many Stories,  which was officially released by Google on the occasion of one billion downloads of Google Earth.

I am not an artist in the conventional sense, but in April 2012, I came across +Artistic Google on (now defunct) Google+ wherein people from around the world shared digitally modified images captured from Google Street Views. Inspired by the beautiful images in the +Artistic Google Album, I also started experimenting with digital manipulations and processing. The 1089 images shared here until September 5, 2022, were processed during the period 2012-2019. The images posted on and after September 6, 2022, are my subsequent creations.
