"And what do people think when they see me? A monster? Or another victim of the Golden Snow?
...I want to believe I'm a free soul"

Seems a bit depressing but I was listening to "Monster" by Imagine Dragons while posting this and made me reflect on my character.
The Golden Snow is how they refer to the event that turned many people into supernatural creatures in my Thunderwolf story.
Those who didn't get turned are often scared of the morphed ones. Especially when the changes are so evident and make it hard to blend in, as in Anna's (the thunderwolf) case. She loves her new form because it gives her the possibility of flying and be majestic (as her friends describe her), but now she's also mute, and that'a the main reason she often feels detached from other people.

Only someone who morphed as much as her could understand, but those people are very rare.
So Anna often goes out on her own to secluded places which are not so easily accessible by others. And spends time reflecting on her life.

I found black paper in my room and wanted to try drawing fur. I am quite happy of the result, even though it's not perfect.
In the beginning I wanted to try giving her fur an "iridescent" look (like SpaceDragon24 suggested to me a while ago), but then it would have clashed with the grey and white pencils and kept it like it is now.
(I just had to add various blue lightnings because otherwise it would have looked too empty and not enough blue... I also love showering her in lightnings xD)

Shoot! I meant to comment on this awhile ago, but then I forgot! I’m so sorry!

I like that you experiment with black paper, I’ve always love using black paper. It just brings out the colors white and blue out so well! And the fur texture is amazing in this piece. Thunderwolf looks so fluffy! :la:
For the iridescent look, my tip for that is to use different shades of blue instead of using the grey scale. Like use the lightest blue you have and work your way down to the darkest blue. Only use white when the light source is shining the most on the feathers and fur. I’ll also recommend adding a little bit of turquoise close to the white. Since green will sometimes reflect when the light hits the feathers at the right spot.
