Sugar Stripes (July 2023)

This was for the July 2023 event in the Candyfloss World, which was called "Doll Me Up!" The closed species released a doll maker where people could make little characters for 3 of the species types, and then someone else would redesign that into a fully-realized character. I had a lot of fun with this design! I was given the prompts of "Egyptian" and "Royalty", and really went ham, haha. Some of my favorite aspects include the Eye of Horus, the reoccurring sun motif, the candy-tape bandages, and the details on the chest. Real life mummies would have all of their organs removed except for their hearts, which I tried to represent by having all of the organs look "ghostly" while the heart is still gold. I tried to do a lot of research for the outfit too! For example, ancient Egyptians did indeed have access to purple dye, which was something I didn't know. They were made for Dead-Mothman, and I hope they enjoy them!

This is the last thing from the art dump, for now. There's technically still quite a bit that I haven't posted, but a lot of it is stuff that I'm not happy with. Thanks for being patient with all of this, haha.
