Spring

I know it's not spring yet, but have a spring themed drawing anyway!

About five years ago, I made a winter themed drawing and I figured, why not draw the other seasons too? So at the end of 2020, I started working on this spring drawing with some Naruto characters having a picnic under the cherry blossom trees. Other things with a higher priority came up, so I ended up not touching this drawing for a couple of years... but in December I came back to it and now it's finally finished!

There are some things I would've done differently now (different ships, anatomy, etc) but it was too late to change it now.

Tbh, at this point I'm not sure if I'll do summer and fall. I want to (being a completionist and all), but these drawings are soooo time consuming, so idk.

Anyway, at the front we have a Hyuchiha picnic. I imagine they just arrived and Itachi and Hanabi dug right into the dango. Itachi, however, got distracted by something more important; his cute boyfriend Neji. Because ItaNeji ftw. Hinata is handing Sasuke a piece of cherry pie, and he is blushing (SasuHina hint? maybe).

To the left we have an Akatsuki picnic. In the front, Kisame is jokingly pointing out to Pein that Itachi has ditched them to be with his boyfriend (you'd think that Itachi would've noticed them when they arrived, but idk, maybe he was super distracted... by Neji? ) and Pein is just like "huh?". Hidan and Konan are together and they're amused by the whole scenario. Kakuzu doesn't care and is just looking on his phone.
Sasori and Deidara are completely unaware of what is happening as they're taking a cute couple selfie together.

In the back, Ino, Sakura and Tenten are having a picnic together, and while Karin initially came here with Suigetsu and Juugo, she decided it would be more fun to join the girls and goes over to them. Suigetsu and Juugo are just chilling together.

Last but not least, Teuchi and his daughter Ayame are temporarily off Ramen duty and tend to the coffee shop instead.
