Stepping down from her position as a Pathfinder had been a hard decision for the quiet nymph, but a necessary one nonetheless. The trade simply didn’t fit her anymore, not after what had happened. But Stonehaven had no place for idle bodies, so staying as a null was no option. And so she took up studying the Mender’s trade under Mouna’s guidance, a job many found to be quite demanding.

By burying herself in work, Ophelia hopes to finally forge a path for herself and herself alone. She wouldn’t make the mistake of trusting another for support and she would make decisions for her own good only.
That, however, is tied to a deeply buried sense of guilt. The young Mender thinks that if she works hard enough and puts as much effort into her career as she can, she might make up for her past mistakes, even if that means working herself to exhaustion.
