Fleeting Flowers

This piece is done in an older style and uses materials that I no longer plan to keep in stock. Please confirm the price with me before commissioning.

I made this pendant as an Xmas present for my mom. My personal challenge for this piece was to find a way to support the labradorite without creating a wire "border" around the gem, and to experiment with different wire color combinations. Supporting the oval was a challenge - I was used to teardrop cabochons, which are a lot easier to secure. Thankfully she really liked the design and palette!

I intended for this to be a companion piece to Transient Thorn, hence the similarities in the title and design. I had Sleeping Beauty/autumn in mind when creating that one, whereas the inspiration for this one is Snow Queen/Winter. Perhaps I can do a spring version in the spring .

Materials: Enamel-coated Copper Wire, Labradorite Cabochon (17 x 32 x 6mm), Aluminum Metal Rose Flower Beads
