The Skies Begin To Clear

"This rain that brings you here is heaven blessed. The skies begin to clean and I'm at rest...and rain wil make the flowers grow."

Yes, yet another Eponine piece. I just love this character (and Samantha Barks) so much! Such a tragic life, yet she loved...so much that she made the ultimate sacrifice to show her love. Here I have portrayed Eponine as the angel that she is. I imagine that she would be surrounded by beautiful flowers, a literal representation of the lyrics from "A Little Fall of Rain." I chose lilacs becasue they represent the "first emotions of Love" showing her love for Marius. I really wanted this picture to represent the overall feeling of hope that is so strongly apart of the story of Les Miserables. Working on this picture was truly an emotional expreience and I put alot of myself into it. I hope you enjoy it!
