Hey there,
I joined with an Infantry/Airborne contract but of all places they sent me, they sent me to the 25th ID out of Schofield and since I was already airborne qualified the Long Range Surveillance (LRS) guys grabbed me and I spend 3 years as an RTO on a LRS team doing all the cool guy stuff lol I always laugh cause my ruck weighed more than I did with all the commo gear / batteries etc I have a pic someplace with 130lbs me standing in The Ghan with my 140lbs RTO ruck hunched over. Then I was sent to the 11th ACR down at Ft Irwin playing OPFOR down there in the box. Nothing overly cool guy but fun to "go to the field" and not have to totally suck as we got to BBQ and "play hadji" for a few weeks at a time in civilian clothes. Thanks so much for taking the time to check out our page and support our small family business. We really appreciate it :-)

I started as OpFor at JRTC LOL I know what you mean about playing the bad guy, although we were doing full spectrum operations and guerilla stuff back in the 90s. Along the way hit Iraq twice and served in 1ID, 2ID, 101rst, 82nd and did my trail time out at Sill even though I was an 11

From one 11B to another, thank you for your service and for all you’ve done for this brotherhood. And thanks for taking the time to support our small family business—it means the world to us. The Infantry bond runs deep, and we’re proud to have brothers like you backing us up.

Let us know if you ever need anything (art for a presentation / gift for a friend etc.) we're always here for brothers in arms 🍻

All the best,
John and the A71 Family
