Longsword and Bow. I switch in between depending on situations (like if a group has way too many longsword user or if the monster flies around alot or is smaller).
Do you use any other stuff? I hunt alot mostly with Yufika lately cause of work, and she uses the LBG, Balaannnceeeeee

BalaannnceeeeeeOmg I hold so much respect for people that play the guns I cannot figure them out PFFF Idk if it's bc I have the normal 3DS XL or what, but I cannot aim to save my life.
AND WELL I used to use the Great Sword actually for long time, but then I switched to exclusively using the Glaive. It's just so fast and free and I love what I can do with it. * v*

Lol guns is getting used to distance and knowing monster weakness... But yeah, I take me hat off fer gunners. In G Rank quests even if you have like... 700+ def monsters can still 2 hit KO you and some usually has 1 shot kill moves also, so for gunners that has less defense than blademasters are just amazing.
Oohhh, Great Sword... ._. I am absolutely terrible with those things. Much too slow for me to get used to.

Though I am as of right now G Rank so I'm quite far ahead, but I'm more than happy to join any hunts! That sounds brutal @ v @;; I'm probably going to put off going to G rank as long as possible haha.
PFF I do a lot of mounting, but it's certainly not all I do. I usually use the powerups to boost my stats then take advantage of the combos/attack animation boost. I'm also an oddball in that I will use my insect to chip away at an enemy when I'm in a rough spot, even though it hardly does any damage PFF but it keeps me safe so whatever HA. I tried the long sword a bit and I liked it, but the movement just didn't feel as loose to me as with the glaive. There's hardly ever a moment when I feel trapped with it, but all the other weapons do for me. And YEAH I went from one extreme to the other with the Great Sword to the Glaive. The G-Sword was the first to appeal to me though bc it was such a heavy hitter and I liked that about it.

AND YEAH; I'm way behind PFF I'm like a HR 4 haha //sweats//
