Hey there,

As an accomplished artist who understands the dangers that unregulated AI poses to artists, I wondered if you could use your platform on DA to call out the irresponsible and frankly abusive behaviour of Eulogy612.

I have now sent a direct complaint to DA, but i have also been reporting numerous works of his as spam to DA with no apparent action on their part.

I posted a very mild comment against a poll he was conducting, asking him to label his work as AI-generated and pointing out he could learn about composition to improve what he does, only to receive an ad hominem attack. I replied, somewhat angrily, but mostly not, explaining that my disability was the reason for the mere 2 deviations he mocked, only for him to post another unpleasant reply and block me before i could answer that!

Notably though, he also hid my first comment, but not my second, presumably because he did not want anyone to see how reasonable my first comment was!

I feel very strongly that DA needs to get its house in order regarding generative-AI, although as a formerly accomplished artist of 62 years of age I am quite happy to use AI as a sort of finishing tool, but at a higher level there needs to be Government legislation at least to redistribute some of the profits of the corporations benefitting from it to student and working artists (however that might work!?).
