Awesome sketch, I'm loving the cloak and chain.

Just one problem...There's no such thing as a Jedi Mandalorian, and there's no such thing as a Sith Mandalorian. You're either Sith, Jedi, or a Mando. Mando's can be force sensitive, but that doesn't make them a Jedi or Sith, or whatever.

=P Get over it!

I agree with the preceding statement, and expand on it.

Mandalorian culture is that of a proud warrior race. They do engage in war, deifying it at one point, but also believe in honor and helping their fellow Mandalorian. The 'RAWR WE FYT JOO' aspect of their culture clasges with the Jedi, and the honor part of their culture clashes with the Sith.

Actually, the character's background is that he's no longer a member of the Mandalorian Protectors. As the son of a clone trooper and a Jedi padawan, he was raised by the Mandolorian clans after the death of both his parents. Upon learning about his force ability, he then left the Mandalorian Protectors to become a Jedi, just as Bardan Jusik started off as a Jedi and became a Mandolrian. A Mandalorian can be force sensitive (just as any other person can), it's just the ideals and culture of Mandalorian and Jedi/Sith are somewhat mutually exclusive to be at the same time. Much as somebody can start out as a Republican and then chose to be a Democrat, but they can't really be a Democrat and Republican at the same time.

Thanks :) As for the Jedi/Sith/Mando argument...take that up with the dude who commissioned the pic ;) lol. I agree with you.

Bardan Jusik is a Mandalorian Jedi. Started out as Jedi, stayed true to the principles even when he was ordered to do things he felt were against the core Jedi beliefs, and joined his Mandalorian squad as their brother.

Awesome picture, by the way.

Thanks! :D

Didn't Gotab leave the Jedi Order?

He sort of did, but he was never formally taken off the roster. He kept on fighting for the Republic until Order 66, then went into hiding. Mira, the Jedi Exile's student, was also a Jedi Mandalorian, the other way around. She was born Mando'a, and became a Jedi as an adult.
