The Hard Life: Second Chance

Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of him while he was truly feral. Now he's kinda like "uhh I'm feral GRR _{but I secretly wanna like people}" But anyway, it's pretty damn hard taking an artistic photo of a feral cat... They kinda don't like posing

This is Earthquake, my "feral" foster kitten <3 <3 I went to the shelter and demanded a feral kitten to foster, and this is what I got. He has giant ears (you can't really tell from this photo) which is half the reason I took him He's been a huge huge challenge for me. He was VERY stubborn at first, had no interest in being socialized. So I shoved him in a cage next to my desk and made him sit there watching me at the computer. He has to be separated from my social kittens because he's a bitch to them <3 (well, they were bitches first...) so he gets a big cage all to himself.

He purred for the first time today! I'm excited for him, he's progressing well. He's playing, too, for the first time. Today has been a ton of improvement for this little guy. He gets to have his desk cage's door open because I trust that he won't bolt out of it, now.

He's just so cute! I love my feral kittens. He's such a brat. I'm really not a tabby fan, I think they're boring, but he's so freaking cute. Just because he's MY boring tabby feral!

About the photo... I wanted to take an artistic photo of him, and since he was so good today I thought I'd give it a shot. This is the only photo that didn't completely suck, and I'm in a mood where I just want to maek arts. So here.

AWWW he just crawled out of his desk cage and onto my desk and he curled up in a little ball. I LOVE HIM!
