Hello! My name is Chrissy, a Marian University alumni with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts/Design, with a minor in Studio Art. Professionally, I work as an author and illustrator, creating my own original content, mostly revolving around subjects that are not commonly sought after, or well known, among general audiences, including: Catholicism, Mesoamerican Mythology, and Slavic Culture and Folklore...to name a few.
As a rule, I am a very open minded person, and love to encourage others in their artistic endeavors, helping in whatever way I can. I enjoy meeting and talking with other artists to learn about their techniques, art programs, and acquiring advice, while giving it in return.

Kitsune are mischevious fox demons. Intelligent, playful, wise, and powerful, Kitsune are very strong spirits. Shape shifting and possesing people are their main powers. Their powers can, by the way, get stronger when they grow wiser and older. When they get wiser, they also get more tails (maximum 9). These demon foxes, while tricksters, can become faithful guardians, friends, lovers, and wives.

Recuperation Vacation UPDATE

Hey all my lovely watchers! I'm still alive and kickin' but my hand is still having some issues. Due to my doctors taking their sweet time with trying to treat me, my hand decided that the tenosynovitis wasn't enough and now I've been dealing with ulnaritis in my right hand for a good month causing nerve damage and muscle atrophy. I was incredibly worried because by the time they actually took an MRI to see what had happened, my pinky and ring finger were virtually paralyzed. Good news, however, I'm starting to get movement back in those two fingers, and I'm getting occupational therapy so, within a few months time, I can go back to ...

Brief Recuperation Vacation

Hey all my wonderful and lovely followers out there! I just want to let you all know that I might not be posting much art for a little while. At the moment, I'm in the process of recovering from a pretty nasty case of tenosynovitis in my right hand/wrist (my dominant drawing hand) , and can barely do a thing with it. Even this whole journal is being typed with my left hand. Anyway I promise to have more content up when my hand returns to normal and I can actually hold a pencil! Hello to all my lovely friends and followers! As of now, I'm pleased to finally announce that I've completed my college education and have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art (specifically majoring in Graphic Art and Minoring in Studio Art). It's been a long and hard five years...changing my major, dealing with major health issues, and struggling with my mountains of projects....but I've gotten it done! As of May 13, 2017, I'm now an alumni of Marian University, graduating with high honors in my field of study.
