Open AirSitting in the summer sun, looking at the sky while squinting from the light. Watching the clouds float by, listening to the birds in the trees, feeling the warm, soft grass on my hands. Cloud after cloud passed over my head. In the distance , the sound I recognised and loved, the deep roar which slowly elevated...louder and louder. It turned into a loud scream, deafening! Overhead! I looked to the horizon, blurry with the heat, to see a grey speck slowly coming towards me. Coming at great speed, louder and louder. I covered my ears. And then silence...the calm before the storm as they say. Slow motion as I watched the silvery-grey...
