Iron Wig Final Wig 2: Sea Dreams

I know there's a lock of updates and I am really really sorry about this. Anyway, this is the second of my three final wigs for Arda's Iron Wig contest. The task was to dye a wig. I hate dyeing wigs, but hey, it was worth it. I still can't believe I won the competition *-* Wooow~

The base wig was a Glinda in Silver. Inspiration for this wig was the sea. At first I wanted little 'treasures' in the bubbles, but I didn't find a ship wreck small enough so I switched to shells. I formed little corals from pipe cleaners to add some more color. The wig was dyed with acrylic paint and fabric softener and even though it worked well, I wouldn't recommend it since the hair feels yuck and the color isn't waterproof. It also rubs off to your hands, so I guess it also rubs off to clothes (which isn't a problem with this wig since it's pulled up). Oh and yeah, there's a stone underneath all the hair, made out of expanding foam. It was fun to make this wig and I like the overall look of it.
