Holy cow, I just passed 20,000 views without even noticing!  How's that for kinda awesome?   Gotta say a HUGE thank you to everyone for stopping by to have a look, for all the faves and really lovely comments too. Thank you so much!

So we're only a few weeks out from this year's Sydney Supanova.  Everyone's gearing up, the cosplayers are going crazy trying to get things done and tickets are being purchased.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up since I didn't make it to Brisnova this year.

Haven't entirely decided upon my plans for the con myself but I am definitely going.  It's just what to do and what to wear that still remains up in the air atm.

Anyone out there all ready to go?  Or still just frantically planning and working?

Other than that, not too much of interest going on here...life and sewing.  Just the usual.

Then there's this.  For the first time in about 6 years I DIDN'T go to Brisnova.   Needed a break from the convention and costuming stuff, for the most part.  I really would have liked to go, if just to see everyone and catch up with friends I haven't caught up with in almost a year...but that would have defeated the purpose of taking a break.

Looks like everyone had a blast, though.  Close to 20,000 attendees over the weekend, lots of costumes and the guests seemed to go over well.   Which is awesome.  I WILL be at Sydnova, of course.  I am, as we speak, attempting to get my sewing mojo back in the swing of things and decide if/what to wear for that.  There is a chance of the ever popular black contacts coming back out, since I have always wanted to do a proper job of Pixie and having one of her dedicated artists at the con might just give me the inspiration I need to get it done.  The wings are going to be a b*tch though!   Oh yah, and the full bodysuit.

Otherwise, it's business as usual.  Plots to scheme and plans to make.

There will most likely be a Winter Lolifest this year, since I talked it over with people and they seemed interested.  I'm thinking the first weekend of August, quite possibly at one of the two CBD Max Brenner's locations.   But more on that later, as I still need to sort details and what not before I start planning for numbers.  A booking will probably be needed, I think.

Anyway! Tangent time is over!  Just wanted to say hi and thank you to all the wonderful people who have been kind enough to and comment on my stuff and a general congrads to all the great cosplayers I've seen pics of from this weekend.   I look forward to seeing everyone in JUNE!
