Identity: Saber's true name is Tanjiro Kamado. He is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, who joined for the purpose of finding a cure for his sister Nezuko Kamado, who was turned into a Demon.

His family was killed during an attack by a Demon, which resulted in his sister turning. He was found by Giyu Tomioka, another Demon Slayer, which would eventually lead Tanjiro to become a Demon Slayer as well.

Personality:

Saber is known by many to be a kind and gentle individual. He displays a respectful and friendly manner towards his master and is extensively loyal to them. Saber is fiercely determined and will do everything in his power to win the Holy Grail War for his master and himself.

Saber is notable for his ability to easily empathize with others. While this may seem harmless, this often makes Saber hesitate in delivering the final blown against enemy Servants. This also allows some enemy Servants to take advantage of his kindness and use it to get an upper hand on him.

Despite his innate kindness, Saber does possess a form of rage and vengeance within him and as a result he is often prone to bursts of rage and frustration during battle (which can either lead him to victory or failure depending on the circumstances).

Skills and Abilities:

Like most Sabers, he possess the Magic Resistance Skill.

During his time as a Demon Slayer, Saber had grown to become a master swordman who could compete against some of the strongest Demons.

Saber possesses an enhanced smelling that allows him to smell the "opening thread", the slightest pause to an enemy attack, allowing for him to quickly strike during that opening. As a Servant, he can smell the "Mana" of enemy Servants and can even use it against Servants with Presence Concealment skill.

Saber can also use the "Demon Slayer Mark", which increases his physical capabilities to superhuman levels. Because Saber doesn't have a lot of control with the mark just yet, it is treated as a Skill rather than a Noble Phantasm.

Saber is also know to have almost genius level intellect and can formulate and analyze strategies that could help him during fights against enemy Servants, being able to analyze their fighting styles and formulate a way around it.

Skill 1: Repetitive Action (Increases own Critical Star absorption)

Skill 2: Demon Slayer Mark (increases own Buster performance)

Skill 3: Transparent World (Increases self Evade and applies self Sure Hit)

Noble Phantasm:

Hinokami Kagura - A breathing technique taught to Saber by his father. It increases the user's strength and endurance. By concentrating his breathing and performing a certain dance, Saber coats his katana in a large burst of flames. This is a worthy Noble Phantasm that only becomes stronger as Saber uses more of it's dancing style and techniques.
