Immortals

I painted this back in November for a Neighvember prompt. I don't draw horses much but they're my favorite animal and I've loved them since I was little. 

These two are Balius and Xanthus which are two immortal horses from Greek mythology. Their story is kind of sad because they outlive their owners and mourn their loses just to be gifted to another owner over again. I recommend reading up on them if you're interested!

This is available on my Etsy shop as a print as well! I love doing this painterly style, but I still love drawing regularly too since it's so much less pressure!
