Hello!I thought I'd fill you in on what's been happening recently, and the lack of updates (if there's anyone out there who's been wondering what's going on) I've just finished my degree in Architecture, and third year has definitely taken its toll on my extra-curricular creativity. I am, however, completely done now! And I have a whole month to get my life back in order and to work out where I'm going to go. First of all, I'm going to be finishing up some existing WIPs, and getting some fandom out of my system, but then I'll be looking at developing my style and signature by starting some illustration projects based around some of my favo...

Wow, have times been busy of late. It's been a whirlwind of university work, balanced with trying to keep drawing and plannign what I'm going to do once I graduate. The end goal is still the same, but I'm starting to carve out a path for myself, which is pretty empowering.  I'm really enjoying trying new media and playing around with things, but I definitely want to start honing my 'sketch portrait' style and my digital style. I've been finding some really inspirational work around and about, and I'm very excited to get back to working on things as soon as my submission is out of the way next week! I'm at a pretty interesting point in my creative life, I think. I'm slowly gathering enough confidence to branch out and try other elements - and I'm finding that I'm much better than I thought I would be, even with little practice in those areas!  I've also refined down what I want to be doing in the future, to a point where I can confidently show people or explain to them what I want to do. This has been particularly helped by find 'The Art of How to Train Your Dragon', which covers all areas of concept art and the earlier stages of design for the film. I can now just whip the book out and point to the scenery element and just say 'that'...
